WO/2007/028051 is another p38 application suggesting that Abbott isn’t throwing in the towel just yet

    I think this is an area that Abbott has bought from Cubist Pharmceuticals. Note that all of the inventors live in Massachusetts.

    Abbott has a small molecule/biotech site in Worcester, Massachusetts, called the Abbott Bioresearch Center. It was formerly part of BASF, but Abbott acquired it not only for a New England presence, but because Humira was in its pipeline.
